This month was a lot of firsts, and this was my first alien centered romance. I’ve read a lot of sci-fi in the past, but I can’t remember if any of the romantic partners were aliens (maybe one of Jennifer L Armentrout’s earlier books).

This first novella introduces us to a group of sisters who are abducted by a race of aliens who mean to breed them. Before that can happen they are rescued by strong, protective aliens who realize they found their mate.

The chemistry between these two characters was a spark from the very beginning, and it was interesting getting a first look at this world and technology. The writing overall wasn’t my favorite, but it didn’t distract too much from the story itself.
