I had the pleasure of seeing Marlee Marlin speak a few years ago, and was so inspired I bought her book. Her story and life is interesting, but the book is poorly written, and reads more like a high schooler’s diary at times. It gets better later on in the book, and I enjoyed learning more about her, but the writing itself was very disappointing.
