I really enjoyed this one start to finish!
The main characters were engaging and fun to read about and the side characters added enough of a splash to be memorable. I loved the mixed themes of a high stakes competition and a mystery woven together in a fantasy story. It was such a unique and fun read, waiting to see what the trials would be while also trying to unravel the mystery of Verity’s murder and the mystery of Lotte’s parentage.
I cannot wait for book 2 in this series to find out what happens next!
