This is my VERY first graphic novel!!! Guys, I’m so proud of myself. I’m totally expanding my horizons. I don’t know that I’ll be reading many more but I’m proud of finally reading one!

This was a super fast read. Honestly, I was re-organizing my bookshelf. I just got this at the Half Price Book sale, last Sunday. Instead of making room for it, I opened it up to check it out. I started reading and didn’t put it down until I was finished. It was a REALLY fast read. I think it’s because it’s a lot of art and less about words. I think I read it in about 30-40 minutes.

This was really cute. I really loved the illustrations so much. There was so much in the art that kept to the theme and tone of what was going on. Actually, you could probably figure out what is going on without the words.

I don’t really want to spoil anything but this book is about finding yourself and acceptance. I know, some people might not agree with the idea of this story but I think it’s important! Be who you are!

I’m so glad that I had so many people recommend this to me. I really enjoyed it and I would recommend it! I would give it a shot, even if you don’t like graphic novels. It’s fast, cute and has a good message!
