I loved the way the story built from is-this-guy-crazy to this-guy-is-crazy to oh-my-god-there's-a-murdering-elk-head-woman. The pattern of the language and the thought processes of the characters as the story wore on prove Jones' brilliance. This was such good horror, the creeping, maybe-it's-all-in-your-head kind that fills up until it spills over into the real world. The kind of story that sticks with you.
