I loved the concept of this book, a mystery within a mystery. It sounded like unwrapping a present and then finding another present inside, to bad it turns out that the first present was socks and then second present was more socks. Not that I don't like socks, but I digress.

I should have done more research and probably would have learned that much of this book is written like an Agatha Christie mystery which is just not my style. I just did not connect with any of the characters in the first mystery until the very end and then I wanted to know sooooo much more about them but it was over.

As for the second mystery, the characters were again kind of one dimensional. The author tried to pull you into the narrators perspective a few times but these often fell flat and just left me feeling confused.
