A good historical novel, poignant and engrossing.
I couldn't help being involved in the dual line story and I felt for the well written characters.
The historical background is well researched and vivid.
It was a good read, recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
