i really did enjoy this book (and the movie, although the book is a lot more reasonably paced and everyone is much nicer lol) but my issue with it (and the film) is the imbalance. the romance is the crux of the story, but you don’t realize that until it’s almost over, and once it’s resolved, the book ends. i just wish there was more of a resolution or an epilogue.
