The Line Between by Tosca Lee
4.0
adventurous dark tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I was slightly skeptical of how they would handle the “pandemic” aspect of the plot, but with the addition of some of the other plot points, it managed to give it a different feel than Covid.

At first, I was a little annoyed with the FMC and the way she seemed to be very naive but then they do a really good job of showing why she acts this way and how brainwashed she became from all of the time spent in the cult.

I really enjoyed the FMC’s character growth by the end and I’m looking forward to the second book!!
