I assume my difficulties were due to not having read the previous instalment and having difficulties in understanding the character.
Or it maybe because I'm huge fan of Holmes/Watson and found this female versione both weird and interesting.
At the end of the day I didn't liked this novel and maybe I will try again after having read the previous instalments.
