It's official - I love Lynn Painter. Her books feel like home to me, they read so quickly, and every single one comes with a curated playlist. My heart.

But this one is extra charming. Liz is dead-set on having her romance movie moment, but nothing seems to be going right. She keeps being thrust together with Wes.... and we all know how that's going to go. There's so much commentary on familial relationships, following your heart, and being yourself that you'd have to be heartless to not get a little misty. I listened to this on audio and was blown away with how detailed the story was (even when I wasn't getting to see the words). And what's even better is that there are so many short stories floating around about their prom and college road trip! Wes & Liz forever kthxbye.
