This reads like an epic poem and is utterly jam packed with absolutely beautiful imagery and lyrical language. 

Patti Smith has such a remarkable way with words and The Coral Sea is such an eloquent and emotional poetic tribute to her friend Robert Mapplethorpe. 

Would definitely recommend reading to anyone who has finished (and loved!) Just Kids.
