Where the Truth Lives by Mia Sheridan
5.0

Do you go into books blind? Like not reading the blurb or refusing to acknowledge anything about the story because you just want to be surprised and read on your own pace? That’s what I’ve done with this book.
I’m a huge fan of suspense and psychological thrillers and if you add a romance story with it then I’ll be reading that book in no time.
Somehow, I’m still amazed at how the author has managed to keep me on the edge and filling my head with so many possible theories and at the end to still be wrong and surprised by the unveiling of so many twists and layers that she carefully wrapped up in this story.
It’s one of my favourite books of the year and more so goes in my favourites of all times because from something dark and twisted she manages to give a happily ever after to a character that many people in real life will not look twice or think “like father like son”
