I really liked this book.

It follows a girl named Bird Barrett as she sings around the south with her family band. They get noticed by a record company, but they only want Bird.

This was really enjoyable. I remember reading a book about 6 to 7 months ago called “You’d Be Mine” And it was also about country music, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I’m glad to say I enjoyed this book a lot too.

It was super fun, and I liked being in Bird Barrett’s head. Yes she was a boy obsessed teenager, but she has some really cool personality traits and she was overall really fun to read about.

Other characters were also really cool. I liked Bird’s best friend a lot. She was super cute, sweet, and funny and will probably be my 2nd favorite character.
