Let’s start off by saying that I did enjoy the first book and listened to it on audio. I was excited to buy this book when it first came out and knew I had to bring it on my trip to PEI. I was excited to read about Fox and Hannah, unfortunately, it fell a little flat for me. Not sure if it was because it was a slow burn or just my mood. It was good for picking up and stopping while on the beach. For those that like spice, I’d say there was some of that. I think I was hoping for a bit more sister story as well as I did like Piper.
