Control by Lydia Kang
3.0

While reading this I was in a bit of a book hangover, but I feel like even if I wasn't it may still have gotten the same rating...
I liked:
- the relationships
- the world
- the concept
- the biology aspect (genetics are cool!)
- the fast pace
I disliked:
- that it was set too close to the present. I don't think authors should set years on their dystopians...
- while I clearly understand a lot of the genetics terms I know many others would not
- a lot of back and forth emotions
- I feel like the plot wasn't woven enough; I was never really surprised or shocked about anything and it was all just given to you on a silver platter.

I did really enjoy reading this book and the whole thing was left so open-ended that I just may read the next, but it's not high on my list.
