A Most Devilish Rogue
by Ashlyn Macnamara
4 Stars
We are lucky to live in a society where we must no longer wear scarlet letters, or where children of unwed mothers are considered the lowest form of human being. Isabelle is not so lucky. She gave her virginity away at sixteen years old, was cast out of her family, and had to figure out how to raise a baby all on her own. George Upperton has his own problems. His mistress is with child and he has no funds to support her in the style she has demanded. George and Isabelle meet by chance when her son Jack tries to drown in the ocean. Overall, a rather nice historical romance. I find a few things weird, but I’m not a parent so I will not comment on them.
