My Boy, Volume 4 by Hitomi Takano
4.0

My boy gets into the "older so is it okay? But not old enough" field.

With it ending on a time skip of last volume we have our two main characters trying to sort their feelings. Satoko trying to finally move on but she isn't having the best time in life. Seems to be lost some. But then she sees Mashuu again grown up and now is trying to decide what to do. Talk to him? Ignore him? What is there to say.

I appreciate the series never really crossing the line. You feel a unease, but you can tell they both care about each other. Satoko probably more as a sister or mother-type but Mashuu might be falling for her. You never really know but it feels like it. This is mostly focused on Mashuu is the second half and his will to try and improve himself and be more forward. Satoko gets the first half and by the end it feels like might missed something major we'll get the next volume.

Once more, this weird slice of life continues to impress and be interesting. I trust in the author to give us a great finale.
