In many ways this book is helpful to organize the planning process of creating a museum exhibit. It also gives some handy tips on making exhibit stands, holders, and other necessities...if you or someone you know is handy with woodworking and has the time to do it. When it comes to the actual design, this book falls far short of helping. Many of the examples just looked sub-par, and amateurish. If you want to learn how to create exhibitions on a budget, this can be helpful, but look elsewhere for more modern techniques on graphic design and exhibit design. The bare bones are great, but the book could use a more modern polish.
