Missing Angel
by Roger Stelljes
The story starts exactly how you would expect, with a Big Bang that grabs your attention in seconds. There’s a lot going on in here. From the normal investigation of a missing girl in a small town where everyone knows each other, to drug cartels and murders. Those are always great elements to hook a reader like me.
I always enjoy a more personal touch in the private life of a detective and police procedural story. I know it’s not the case for everyone, but since my kryptonite has always been romance, will always look those moments in any thriller type of books.
And Missing Angel has that quite a lot. It makes me enjoy the overall story more, and it shows that even the strong, stone colder hearts have a human part along with emotions and love.
The middle part of the story felt a bit too much in my opinion but overall I’ve enjoy it for a good police procedural story that I know many of the author’s fans will enjoy.
