As far as horror goes, this book didn't truly deliver in my opinion. It could simply be my personal tastes, but it just wasn't... 'spicy' enough, if that makes sense? It felt like the scare factor was lacking, probably because it was more of a slow buildup.
Other than that, this was a good read. Katsu did an amazing job building suspense, and I really enjoyed her writing style. I have no other criticism, it's just that this book wasn't my exact cup of tea.
