An enjoyable read with a lot of mystery and surprises! Basically 'Violet' wakes up with no idea who she is and it's not a normal case of amnesia, she also doesn't know basic stuff like what a TV is, what the internet is, etc. However, she's super clever and seems to speak many different languages, plus can solve mathematical equations and theories in five seconds.

Violet doesn't believe she was the only surviving victim of a plane crash, and wants to get to the bottom of her story and find out who she is...and who the strange guy is telling her that she knows him.

The one thing that irked me with this book was the emphasis on Violet/Sera's looks. Everywhere she went, her face, eyes and body were commented on by complete strangers. Don't get me wrong, but that's not the real world. Plus, the fact that people would snap photos of her right in her face - I would presume it's the same in the States, but if someone has 'survived' a plane crash killing everyone else on board...you would't go up to someone screaming excitedly at them and taking their photo. Human decency, please.

The twist was unexpected but exciting and I am looking forward to seeing where this book goes....just with a little less emphasis on what someone looks like and a bit more emphasis on what type of person they are, please.
