Really more of a 2.5, the plot is good and has a lot of potential, but the language and writing really bothers me. It feels like it's written by a 14 year old, dumbing it down for her peers instead of making it challenging and more adult. I'm still going to give book 2 a try because I want to see where the story goes, hopefully the sentances that make me cringe improve.
