This book had me hooked from the start. I did cry, but I was on a plane when I finished it, so it took all my might not to ugly cry.

Lou is lost in life. She "loves" her fiancé, she lives at home to help her parents, and her sister lives there with her son. Oh and to top it off, Lou loses her job. She somehow gets a job as a companion for a disabled man who cannot walk or do most things for himself.

Will used to be a very ambitious young man with a good job, money, a beautiful girlfriend, and all the adventures in the world. He gets hit by a car and it leaves him unable to do numerous things.

It is obvious that Will and Lou will fall in love. But Will decides he would like to medically end his life. He is in pain a lot and lost his ability to do so much. Will dies in the end, but leaves Lou enough $ to see the world and grow into the person she should be. There will be a movie and a sequel soon.
