This book is written from a white centric perspective and it’s incredibly noticeable. I Would only recommend this book to people who have no knowledge on genderqueer/ nonbinary identities and their history in context of indigenous cultures. The mapping formation is unique and an interesting approach. Dr. Ryle attempts to discuss intersectionality but it falls flat and is vague at best. Despite the fact that it’s discussing gender expansive identities Robyn still forces you into binary decisions.
I think my 3 is a bit nice and might be a 2.5 not sure.
