I read many different opinions of this book but I have to say that I did like it. Adrian was one of my favorite characters from The Vampire Academy series and I'm happy to see more of him here. Sydney did annoy me at times but I had to get used to her mindset and then it made sense. I did wish she had a little bit of a romantic story line (I was kinda of rooting for Trey to ask her out). I do know that she gets one and it did start a little in this book but I wanted the competition.
