The Poppy War

A great read.
I really enjoyed this book. For me the strongest bit was the first part. I found that the most interesting. The second part dragged in some areas abu was none the less strong. I found this third bit somewhere in between. It had some harrowing scenes that are still burnt into my mind and some amazing writing though I didn't enjoy reading it as much as I did the first part. Overall this book was amazing and I would reccomend it highly. It's the first book I've read all the way through since lockdown began and ims really glad this is was it. It was gripping.
I also lived the MC Rin as she was interesting, yet deeply and obviously flaws in some ways. Her character grew throughout the novel but I can tell she has a long way to go and it nice to read about someone who felt like they could be a real person with real fults.
