3.5 ⭐️ - I’m not sure I agree with the classification of this as “satire”. This was a bit of an uncomfortable read - there are quite a few unlikable characters (including the main character for a portion of the book), and lots of blatant racial stereotyping and racism. It was a good narrative on being a Black man trying to make it in a majority-white work environment. So many mixed feelings on this one.
