Excellent! Amazingly realised characters, twists and turns that kept the pace moving, and a great range of art.
Occasionally, you think you know what a twist will be, but then it’s revealed on the next page.
Sometimes you thought you knew what was happening, but they were only playing on a trope and it’s deeper than you realised.
There was an issue towards the end that through ‘show, don’t tell’ out the window so I’m not sure what that was about, but it was only one or two issues out of many.
It would have been a 5/5, but it didn’t entirely feel finished as a story. I’m rushing out to get Volume 2 right now, so the cliffhanger worked, but I personally reserve full marks for things I feel I could go back and read by themselves.
