Saving the Halfback
by Aly Westman
What an emotional journey! I picked this up because the recommendations said it was a fantastic journey of growth, healing, and forgiveness, and they were so right.
Our FMC Bailey is strong, her decisions make a lot of sense in the light of her circumstances, and the history. The MMCS are all very unique, not clones or one note.
The way the history and trauma are revealed is in a deliciously slow drip, unfolding as you get deeper into the story. The path each need to take alone and together weaves a tapestry of pain and forgiveness, and addresses so many realistic aspects.
