I saw this book recommended several times so I placed it on my TBR and kept moving it up with each recommendation.  It was really good, but I think I set myself up for something a little different?  It kept being recommended as a dark cowboy romance and I didn't get that.

In fact, I have never said this before, but I actually wanted more debauchery in this book.  It was just as open door as it was closed door.  When Hazel said she had dark tastes, I wanted to see it.  But every time something "dark" was going to happen in the bedroom, it faded to black.  I was really disappointed by that.  Not to say the spice that we did see on page wasn't good, it absolutely was. It was phenomenal, 10/10, hands down some of the best.  

The book was great, I just wanted more from it.  I think that's a me issue, not a Bull Rush or Maggie Rawdon issue.
