The Hidden Oracle
by Rick Riordan
Rick Riordan's writing shines in this first instalment of the The Trials of Apollo series. As a consequence of event in The Heroes of Olympus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus by his father Zeus. Now mortal, Apollo befriends a demigod Meg McCaffrey and both try to reach Camp Half-Blood.
I absolutely enjoyed The Hidden Oracle. Apollo works so well as the main character, especially the main character written by Riordan. The chapter titles are 100% in Apollo's style. And I loved how much time we spend at Camp Half-Blood.
I really recommend The Hidden Oracle to anyone who loves Greek mythology and to those who already love the RiordanVerse.
