Nelson does a great job discussing generational trauma, parenting and post partum health. The sections about her daughter were wonderful. You can feel the love coming through the pages, and I'd love to read another book that focuses more on her relationship with her daughter. I found her section on post partum to be raw, honest and open, and I wish more moms would talk candidly about how tough it can be. Maybe then a future generation of moms will be better prepared for such a life change.
