I respect this book as a classic. The characters are well written, the prose is beautiful, as is the setting. However, I fell asleep often reading it because it was SO BORING. Also, the age-gap romances, and even implied age-gap romances are just plain gross. Would not recommend, it unless you're into classics or are forced to read it for school.
