I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the themes of absent parents being told realistically, parentified older siblings, and the dynamics of siblings who don't understand that they are playing into the hands of misogynoir. This book is a cautionary tale: if you don't deal with your "demon," they will deal with YOU!
