I really liked this fake dating story between Elle and Darcy. They are total opposites.
Darcy is an actuary, loves math and is pretty serious in her life. She spent her childhood taking care of her brother (asking with a grandmother) and trying to give him what their mother couldn't.
Elle is into astrology, crazy ideas and she's so spunky and full of energy. Her family though, they think she's not living up to her full potential and seem to always look down on what she does for a living.

What starts out as a way to get Darcy's brother Brendon off her back, she starts fake dating Elle after a disastrous blind date together. They even agree on an end date as to when the charade will be over. Elle reluctantly agrees as she's working closely with Brendon on an app. Turns into real feelings with complications.

Brendon has spent his whole life being taken care of by Darcy (while their mom wasn't very present the times she was around) and Brendon, I felt, just wanted to repay her somehow and to make her happy.
