When I first heard that Ernest Cline was writing a sequel to Ready Player One I was soooooo nervous it would be a dud.
I’m happy to say this book was just as exciting as the first book! This time Wade is in search of the Seven Shards of the Sirens Soul, spread across seven different worlds in the OASIS and man did they hit up some good worlds this time! I won’t give anything away but I was pretty wrapped up in the story reading about some of the quests they had to complete.
It doesn’t seem like he’s planning on any more books like this after the ending on this one and I hope he leaves it as is.
This was a great duology from start to finish!
