I can't really tell whether I will like this series or not. The explored concept is very interesting, but the execution is very different from what i expected it to be. Even though people are born without gender, it seems like the society in this world is still very driven by binary gender stereotypes, people assume the gender someone will become based on their interests and stuff. I would've wished for that to be different. I'm also a little disappointed that there's a suggested relation between romantic/sexual orientation and gender, since Hinases friends try to influence their gender by trying to make them fall in love with them?? I can't tell yet whether or not that idea will be challenged going forward. I really hope it will be, because I think it's harmful to suggest such a relation.
There's also a scene where confidential information is given to someone just because the people involved in this case are close with each other, which I didn't like to see.
However, I do like Hinase a lot and do want to know how their story goes on. Oh, and I loved the art style!! As well as a few quotes, which I can't mention here because I read it in German and don't know how they were translated.
