This was a very funny book but it was let down by how drawn out it was. I get that the whole thing happened in a day but I got so bored reading such detailed descriptions about mundane details (like when Calum was shaving). Also, it plodded along really slowly until the last quarter or so when things suddenly happened extremely quickly, the pacing was all wrong.

Saying that though, I did enjoy this - some scenes had me laughing out loud, and I liked the characters. It just needs a bit of refining.
