Possible ReadHarder Prompts: Mystery where the victim isn't a woman, Historical fiction that doesn't take place during World War 2
Possible PopSugar Prompts: Set in a city that hosted the Olympics, passes the Bechdel test, Upsidown image, published in my birthday month (April), Features a woman in STEM, bird on the cover, meant to read in 2019, title with more than 20 letters.

So I mean, if you want to read one book and have it knock out as many categories as humanly possible, here you go. I liked it in the beginning, and I followed it, until the mystery started to tie up in which case like..stuff happened I guess? I still fully don't understand the ending, and it's taken me a LONG time to get through a book that shouldn't have taken me this long. Flavia is cute, a 12 year old poison prodigy, and I found myself laughing along with her often. I wonder if maybe the reason this one falls flat is because it's the first. While I won't be diving right into the next one, I'll keep the door open.
