This series has a chokehold on me that I haven't experienced since ACOTAR and the Blood and Ash series. Elizabeth and Helen have a talent for world building! This world takes you to far away magical realms that make you want to stay lost in them forever! Aside from the setting the characters are all extremely well written and all have a strong sense of individuality. I find my self caring for each character for their own unique reasons. 

The romance in the book is a slow burn and there are many, many, many steamy teases of spice sprinkled throughout which keep you on edge throughout until the ultimate meeting of characters!

If you enjoy fated mates, fairy tale retellings, spice, magical worlds where you can disappear for a few hours then this is the book series for you.

I'm only sad that I can't reread this again for the first time but I eagerly await book 3!
