Hold on to Hope
by A.L. Jackson
4.5 stars
To my shame, it's my first book by the author but won't be the last for sure.
This book is filled with emotions, angst, hurt, lust, love and suspense.
Childhood friends reunite after Evan was away for 3 years finding his way in life and he's not coming back alone.
There are some topics that pulled at my heart and tears all the way and I hoped that this book won't have to finalize in a heartbroken story. It so didn't! I get my well-wished HEA and more.
I was mad at Evan for being selfish but also understanding his way of seeing the world and people around him. Their moments are hot and I might go back and read the previous books when they were just kids and when everything started.
