not my type of book.
overly sexist, overly macho and male focused on the way of “men know better and should be listend to at all times” i do not enjoy.
also i understand the book is set in the 1960s but the slurs and over the top language used on this book wasn’t for me.
i liked the idea more than this book itself.
i think there are a lot better books out there that share this type of plot and idea: actors and their struggles in some way.
but if you love this type of movie you might love this book.
i wouldn’t recommend it
