Fairy Godmothers, Inc.
by Saranna DeWylde
This is definitely not your cute and fluffy fairy tale! This is a very adult version of fairy tale proportions.
Lucky is very unlucky. She had a particular mishap with a boy, Ransom, in college that earned him a very unfortunate nickname that follows him beyond college. Everytime they try to get together, bad things happen.
Lucky had 3 fairy godmothers though she doesn't know of their magic. When they call themselves fairy godmothers, Lucky just goes along with the eccentricity.
When the godmothers want the town of Ever After to be put on the map (because it's hidden from the normal world), they make a cake egg between Lucky and Ransom to bring people to town they want to have their own weddings there.
This is full of laughs and fun. I really enjoyed it though the nickname was a big focus in this book and I would have been happier knowing where it came from and then that be it. But it's rehashed over and over.
