A Dark, Emotional Ride with Found Family at Its Core

Losers by Harley Laroux is a raw and emotional story centered around pain, healing, and the kind of family you build, not the one you’re born into. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the four boys—Manson, Lucas, Vincent, and Jason. There’s something powerful about how three broken souls and one with a more stable upbringing came together to form a bond that feels like home. Each pair—Manson with Lucas, Vincent with Jason—had their own unique chemistry, and together, they created something whole out of their fractured pieces.

Jessica was a bit of a struggle for me at first. I didn’t connect with her immediately, and honestly, I didn’t like her in the beginning. But as the story unfolded, and more layers of her character were revealed, I started to understand her pain and motivations. By the end, she’d grown on me in a way I didn’t expect.

This story was dark, intense, and emotionally charged, and while it wasn’t perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I'm looking forward to part two to see how these complex relationships continue to evolve.
