This is an ultimate will they or won’t they as I keep wanting to shout “just get back together and admit you’re in love.” Emily Henry continues to perfectly mix romance and comedy rom-com style. The main character starts her vacation claiming to feel like one of those women from a tampon commercial ready to take on the world…only for the world to throw her to a loop. The parts that made me laugh and smile really made me laugh. And the internal grunting (awk) because why don’t people just want to be happy also made me want to just keep reading just to see if they would eventually get it right.
