The only reason I read this is that I put it on my to-read list a long time ago and i had downloaded it to my Kindle. Honestly, I wasted my time and if I was the person who puts down a book they're not enjoying, I probably would have chucked it by the end of the first chapter.

Not only was character development poor and overall poorly written, but everything was just messy. It went back and forth in my opinion. And I'm sorry, but how was Baron Ford in love with Clarity after only a few days and vice versa, and 'the best night of her life'...nothing happened? Plus, we never hear of her female guardian again after she discovers who she was.

I just found this story erratic and unpleasant to read. I highly doubt I'd read the others.
