Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art
by James Nestor
» QUICK OVERVIEW «
Stars: ★★★☆☆
*Plot: ★★★☆☆
Readability: ★★☆☆☆
*Characters: ★★★☆☆
Writing: ★★★☆☆
Recommend: ✗
» PLOT «
Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong with humans and their ability to breathe and how to fix it.
*This is a work of nonfiction, so a default rating of 3 stars was given.
This book really skirts around the main idea/solution. I feel like a lot of it was padding.
I liked the fact that they gave breathing exercises at the end, but that's not much.
» READABILITY «
This was okay to read (via audiobook), but like I said, it had a lot of padding.
» CHARACTERS «
*This is a work of nonfiction, so a default rating of 3 stars was given.
» WRITING «
The writing is fine, nothing too good or bad.
» OVERALL «
meh.
