I really enjoyed the first half of this book. The writing was easy to read, the characters were interesting… but around the halfway/three quarters point it just got weird. The writing got sloppy and it just felt like a different book. 

I didn’t enjoy how everything just worked for them, miraculously all the doors and ramps they needed were open and everything just worked. The science felt forced and inaccurate… it just bothered me. 

This book gets 1 star, and an extra 1 star for Sputnik.
