xennicole 's review for:
The Wedding Party
by Jasmine Guillory
I somehow managed to have an ARC of this and never read it. SHAME! But I read it less than 3 hours, so it was saved for a day I needed, albeit past its published date and into a next year.
It was delightful, and it might be my favorite one in the series. I think it because the characters, IMO, I related to more than the others. I saw parts of my personality in the Hero and Heroine of this tale.
This story is a proper Chick-Lit/RomCom. I have been reading many newer ones, and they are more fiction with romance and what this subgenre should be. This story was fun, had its moments of ups and downs, and you knew that ending was going to be worth it. She can write a make-up HEA scene.
I got an arc from Edelweiss and Berley for my honest review (super late).
